Hello from Germany

Dear friends of analogue in portugal,

I am Ralf from Germany. I live between Köln and Bonn. I met Antonio da Silva in the german AAAnalogforum and he told me about his new forum Audio Analogico de Portugal.

Some month ago I found an article about Rui Borges Turntables and I asked Antonio about Rui´s email adress.
It needed nearly 3 month and Rui stood in front of our house with three nice turntables in his car. The other ones are for two friends of mine.
Now I am an owner of the UNO with a Reed tonarm/AT33PTG since 2 month and I am very happy and satisfied with this turntable. Maybe there are some other music lovers who will dicover their interests on Rui´s turntables in Germany on the AAAnalog-fair in Krefeld in october.

At the moment I'm listening delightful german music.. Bach's Cantata BWV 140 on reel to reel tape.. no words to describe it..

Bevor we baught this TT my wife and I (yes my wife shares this hobby with me!) heard with a Thorens TD 521/12" SME 3012R/bronzeknife bearing/Fine Wire C37 Bullet Plugs/AT33PTG
- no comparison! Rui´s TT plays in another league. More dynamic, just in time, with a rythm, that you can´t stop your feet moving, much more details, a big natural stage etc.. That´s music!
But I can imagine that you better know what I am talking about., becaus it´s a portuguese TT...

Infortunately i live in France and i've never heard a RBTurntable, i hope that in a couple of weeks i'll be in Lisbon, and with Antonio we'll make a visit to Rui Borges.

You have a superb turntable, with a personalized plate with the name of your wife and yours, i'm happy for both of you and i hope that you will enjoy the music for a long time ...

Don`t worry Paolo, for that I haven´t heard your phono transformers yet. If I trust in Antonios description, the sound must be amazing. So I am very curious to hear them.
We try to spend a short holiday in portugal next year and maybe there is a chance to hear them in Antonios house!?

Good decision Paolo! Rui is a really nice person. He is very serious in his work but you can also have a lot of fun with him.
Imho his TT are really outstanding and meanwhile I understand his philosophie. The most important thing is the quality of the material without any compromise, the love to details and an excellent craftmanship.
There are many good TT, but only few very good ones. Rui's philosophie has persuaded me completely.

I hope, you can forgive me for my enthusiasm Wink
